Outstanding in many ways, 2017 was a very hot and dry year leading to a small harvest. The main characteristic of this vintage is the exceptional quality of the wines produced. The reds, whose grapes were perfectly ripe, exhale aromas of black fruits with a lovely long and silky palate. The tannins are sweet. The wines have a long aging capacity.
TASTING NOTES
Ruby red color with purple reflections. Intense nose of strawberry jam, fresh red fruits. Delicately spicy. The palate is smooth, with good volume supported by fat and a powerful tannic structure. We find the fruity notes, slightly kirsch. The finish is reminiscent of liquorice but also more mineral notes of schist. The tannins are present, but already well integrated.
